→ DSB Byen (The DSB Village) is a homage to the repair and maintenance facilities of the Danish National Train Service located in southwestern Copenhagen. Built in 1909, the Village assumed a vital role in supporting Denmark’s economic growth during the 20th century, but has since been a sleepy industrial oasis where the workers of times past have been replaced by unwelcome visitors who sneak through the fences when no one is looking. DSB Byen is a project by Rasmus Folehave Hansen, Anders Gerning and Martin Ransby and takes form as a book published by Ransby Editions, and an exhibition that was a part of CAFx (Copenhagen Architecture Festival) 2016. If you want to know more you can read an interview (in danish) about the project here.
